First Impression Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #102

Opinion

I’m truly impressed by how seamlessly Melissa Flores has taken the series reins from Parrott and Groom, maintaining its quality without skipping a beat. Her handling is on par, if not better, than theirs, and considering that their runs were among the best ongoing series from any publisher for the year, that’s saying something. The flashback showcasing Matt’s depth of character adds a poignant layer, setting the stage for his sacrifice towards the issue’s end. It’s a compelling narrative development, and I’m eagerly anticipating where the story will take us next.
